Privacy policy
This policy describes how LinkinTech processes your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Belgian data protection legislation.
1. Data controller

2. Data collected
- Identity: first name, last name, email, phone number.
- Location: service address, postal code, city.
- Account: password (hashed), role, preferences.
- Tradespeople: enterprise number (CBE/KBO), business name, CBE extract, ten-year liability insurance certificate, trade, service area.
- Requests: description, urgency, attached photos, exchanges with the tradesperson, quotes and reviews.
- Technical: application logs (IP address, user agent) for security purposes.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Creation and management of the account — Performance of the contract
- Connecting customer and tradesperson — Performance of the contract
- Verification of the enterprise number (CBE/KBO) and insurance — Legal obligation + legitimate interest
- Transactional emails (confirmations, messages) — Performance of the contract
- Fraud prevention, security — Legitimate interest
- Invoicing and accounting — Legal obligation
4. Recipients
Your data is accessible only to authorised LinkinTech staff and to the tradespeople you are connected with as part of your request. We never sell or rent out any data.
Processors (Art. 28 GDPR)
- Supabase — database hosting and storage (EU).
- Cloudflare / Lovable — application hosting and delivery.
- Resend — sending transactional emails.
- CBE/KBO — enterprise number verification (Belgian public register).
5. Retention periods
- Active account: for the entire period of use.
- Inactive account: deleted after 3 years without login.
- Accounting documents: 10 years (Belgian legal obligation).
- Security logs: 12 months.

6. Transfers outside the EU
Data is hosted within the European Union. No transfer outside the EU is carried out without appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to define post-mortem directives.
You can exercise these rights directly from your "My data" area (export and deletion in one click), or by emailing contact@linkintech.eu. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (DPA), the Belgian supervisory authority.
8. Security
Hashed passwords (bcrypt), TLS 1.2+ on all communications, database-level Row-Level Security, private storage of supporting documents with time-limited signed URLs, encrypted backups.

10. Updates
This policy may be updated. The date of the last revision appears at the top of the page. Substantial changes are notified to you by email.
